Hello everybody,
We were in New Zealand on January and slept by a very nice english couple. They made us hear some opera songs and Anthea played a CD from Katherine Jenkins. We recognised the song "Into the west" from Annie Lennox heard at the end from the return of the king but it was song by Katherine. It was beautiful ! Could you help me to find the cd where the song is ?
Thank you very much for your help !
Marie

Not aware of this song being on any of Katherine's albums.
Will research and let you know.

Never say never, Marie, but I think you must be mistaken. 'Into The West' came out in 2003 so any cover version is going to be subsequent to that date. Katherine's musical output has been well documented since that time and it is hard to believe that the release of a track like that would not have surfaced somewhere.
That mainstay of information, Google, fails to locate any album with this track on and is unlikely that New Zealand would have exclusivity on a song and also that they kept it out of sight of prying eyes. But stranger things have happened.
Would not the easiest way to be certain to contact your friend in new Zealand and ask which album it was? And if you find it, shout on here!!

I also have had a good search and found nothing. I feel sure you were listening to someone else singing it; wouldn't have sounded like Katherine though!
