This should be a very interesting series as it is all about late romantic to contemporary, a period I particularly love. Bruckner's sacred music is very beautiful, especially the Motets, Poulenc is fun, Faure, famous for his almost minimalist but spine chilling Requiem, and Gorecki's fascinating sounds - even if you don't like the music, which I do.
And of course the 16 are a superb group of singers who present very high class performances.

Looking forward to it.

Russell.

I am looking forward to this now.  I am currently working my way through the DVD of the first series, I do like The Sixteen very much and Elin Manahan Thomas, who used to regularly sing with them.  I am sure it will be more of the same for the 2nd series!

All the best
Graham
