Hi everyone,

We have carried out a few changes to the forum and posting guidelines have been added that we ask you to please read / follow in future and we also hope that you like the new layout.

We are doing a tidy-up which involves moving a few topics into best suited sections and closing several duplicate threads, these will still remain on the forum for viewing.

We do apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, please bare with us.

Edit Signature - Add the 'http picture link' and highlight it, click IFCode, scroll and click the link beside 'Image' - (IMG CODE) and then update your signature. (Max size is 450x150)
Edit Avatar - Upload image, browse, click your picture, open and update. (Max size is 100x100)

[u][b]Alternative Browser for Login Problems[/b][/u]

For any users having problems logging on, please try Firefox, so far this has been a 100% success on this forum. You can still use Internet Explorer as before on other sites.

Hi folks, this will seem like a stupid post....

But it's not as simple as it seems, i cannot receive any PM's at the moment as it says i have used my 50 messages....fair enough, however i have removed all the messages from my inbox.

The screen says that i have 50 messages used & 50 messages available to use, errrr.....

I cannot find a delete option, only a move to deleted items option is that the same thing?

I assume it must be because i have nothing else....

Any and all help gratefully received, i have been pottering around on forums for 6-7yrs and never come across this before, most strange.

Diamond Club Membership

I have registered as a Diamond Club Member at last, but need to register my wife so that she has the same access as myself to concerts and Meet & Greet where applicable, but without purchasing a second album and calendar.

Any suggestions about how to achieve this. I realise that some form of payment will need to be made, but the system does not seem to be very clear! or easy to follow.

SCREEN COLOURS AND TEXT SIZE

FIRSTLY A MASSIVE THANK YOU TO jOHN FOR A TEMP FIX TO MY PROBLEM i WAS HAVING TO USE RSS FEED TO VIEW FORUM POSTS. BUT HERO THAT HE IS DASHED IN TO RESCUE DAMSEN IN DISTRESS YOU CAN HIGHLIGHT TEXT WHICH BRNGS UP DARK TEXT ON LIGHTER BACKGROUND AND EVERYTHING READS FORWARDS AGAIN !!!!

SECONDLY ANYONE HAVING A PROBLEM WITH TEXT SIZE YOU CAN GO TO YOUR PC TOOL BAR SELECT VIEW AND TEXT SIZE AND ENLARGE TO YOUR COMFORT THIS WAS NOT A PROBLEM FOR ME BUT IT WAS FOR A DAER FRIEND OF MINE WHO WILL REMAIN UN NAMED BUT HOPE THIS HELPS

Forum Problem/Errors Thread

I thought I'd start a thread so if you noticed a problem you can post it and hopefully send it to the admin to fix :)

~~1. Katherine is spelt "Katerine" in the breadcrumbs at the top (Thanks tony102smith)~~ Fixed

2. Text colour change and text highlight colour drop down menus appear underneath the message editor.

3. The numbered list and bullet points buttons don't work.

4. Clicking on the name of a user beside there post should show a pull down menu of options but this is hidden behind the black panel. This also happens for Search Forum, Forum Options, Rate Topic, Change Mode, Topic Options.

5. Some users find the theme colours hard to read.

6. Taking a new line seems inconsistent and using a break line in HTML seems the only way to be sure.

~~7. Users can't see the previous post when writing a reply.~~ Fixed
(Scroll down and expand the box called Last 10 Posts in Descending Order)

8. Users don't know who is online.

9. Users are being frequently logged out from the forum.

Between these approaches we should be able to work everything out, but with individual emails coming from everywhere things will always get lost.

Please have patience things take time to work out and its usually in a development queue with all the

Technical details

Hi everyone

Since almost everyone had issues with the new forum, I did some analysis of the technical implementation of the web site.
My conclusions are based on pure analysis and they are not meant to be an official announcement.
They are posted here as a service for members. If anyone has more details, please post here.

The best address to access the web site and forum is [url]http://kj.tv/[/url] consistent with what was advertised.
Other addresses are http://www.kj.tv/ and the old addresses http://www.katherinejenkins.co.uk/ or http://www.katherinejenkins.com/ both with or without the prefix www.
Both old addresses are rather a dubious redirection or different IP address, so they are not recommended.
I suppose they are there just for backwards compatibility.

Unlike the previous hosting which did not work well, this time the DNS settings are done exactly as it should be. The DNS Servers belong to Titan Internet in UK. Congratulations to those who optimally configured DNS for this site, since the old sites are not very well configured not even after few years of operation.

There are still issues, especially with the Diamond Club membership or the inconsistent login state, but based on what I've seen until now, I am hopeful that the remaining issues will be promptly addressed.

There are some useful options here:

Private Messages

Sent Items:
Always add a copy of posts i send to my sent items folder.

Always add a copy of messages i send to my sent items folder.

Topic Display
Use Flat decending to change the default to newest posts first

Topic Display:
Specify how you would like to display posts when reading a topic.

On the top right hand of the forum recent posts is a useful tool to keep up to date with posts.
